Very recently the research and development of Ga-doped Zinc Oxide (GZO) transparent conductive films has progressed from a first phase of research and development of basic electrical and optical properties to a second phase including both the application development of the ZnO-based-electrode mounted liquid crystal display panel and etching technology. Feasibility study of GZO-common electrodes has been conducted through the fabrication of 3-inch TFT-LCD panels. The panel showed the performance equal to that equipped with ITO-based electrodes. We confirmed 1000h operation without any change of performance under the condition of 60℃ in 90% humidity atmosphere.
