We prototyped "Interfacing device for image-based multi-sensor data acquisition" by embedding various complexed sensor information and intaking with visible information. In this study, we tried to improve the interfaces. We made the new device that realizing the sensor fusion via image. It is able to intake images with multi-sensor data and save time of synchronizing etc. Our device obtains sensor information as images by converting voltage signal to lightness of LED. We estimated each signal features which get through our device in the study.

Aiming at lack of evaluation methods for background light suppression characteristics and range finding accuracy for 3-D measurement using time-of-flight method, based on the analysis of Phase-Shifting and Single Photon Avalanche Diode time-of-flight image sensors, evaluation methods and scenarios for background light suppression characteristics and range finding accuracy for 3-D measurement using time-of-flight method are presented, some key questions are studied. The research results can provide evaluation methods and scenarios for background light suppression characteristics and range finding accuracy of time-of-flight image sensors in the future.

We show a method of realizing object tracking and image synthesis in the dark in which both target motion and a reference image are estimated. In iterative calculation, a broader search is performed by calculating differences after applying a strong low-pass filter to input images. As a result, we realized object tracking and image synthesis from simulated video images with an SNR of up to -6dB and real video images captured in a dark environment with an illuminance of less than 0.01 lx at the subject surface.

A sensor network and its information processing are expected as the technology used for various purpose, such as collecting the information for providing service suitable for the situation and recognition of the real world. In this paper, we introduce technologies for collecting information from a lot of sensor nodes deployed in environment or a person, interpreting the sensor data to the meaningful information, and presenting the information to people appropriately.
