Denture fibroma comonly exists, but extensive excision offen results in deterioration of the maintenance and stability of the denture. Excision of the whole tissue is not always nessesory, since fibroma is not a true tumor but is an inflammatory neoplasm. Therefore this tumor must be excised conservatively for the maintenance and stability of the denture. On two cases of denture fibroma, we performed excision of only connective tissue and vestibuloplasty simultaneously with preservation of the overlying mucosal membrane. Post-operatively, the den-tures retained stability.
