The Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine, which has been enforced in 2014, is stipulating the standards to be followed when clinical research or daily practice (private practice) is to be conducted for regenerative medicine. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the consistency of the operation of the Clinical Trials Act enforced in April 2018, the revised enforcement regulation of the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine was issued in November 2018.
Those involved in the provision of regenerative medicine are required to respond appropriately to the revised enforcement regulation.
