Electric engineering is unattractive to students in medical technologist course. To make for students curious to Ohm’s law experiments, ready-made devices such as a unit of electrophoresis apparatus and DC power supply (which students became familiar with the use in their biochemistry practice) were used. Using a horizontal electrophoresis vessel, in which each end of a rectangular paper towel is dipped into water in a tank on each side of the vessel, the electric current flow through the wet paper towel under the electrophoresis equipment is connected to electricity. In students experiments, electric current-voltage measurements were carried out within a current range that the circuit current was roughly proportional to the applied voltage. We report an example of electrical experiments modified for medical students.
