Resort Office Research Group had an opportunity to visit Sirahama, Wakayama Prefecture again. On 25th January 2016, we visited there for the first time in approximately 8 years. Our destination is Shirahama town office, Salesforce. com. Inc in a municipal Shirahama IT Business Office Building, and SRI. Inc that is a system development company, making use of an unengaged recreation house in the local area. Exactly the same places as we visited 8 years ago. Some things had changed during this period, others hadn't. SRI. Inc and Salesforce. com. Inc represent Japanese words, "U-Turn" and "I-Turn". "U-Turn"means a social phenomenon in Japan for young people studying or working in big cities to return to their hometowns to seek employment. "I-Turn"is the opposite word of "U-Turn". That means, young people studying in big cities find employment in local areas after graduation.
