Recently. LED often is used as a source of illumination system. Two big changes occurred to optical analysis tool by the popularization of LED. I describe progress of optical analysis technology and shape design capability in optics analysis tool.

Since the first LED headlamp appeared in 2007, White LED technology has made rapid progress and is becoming the mainstream of the headlamp light source. White LEDs as compared with conventional light sources have a number of different features, such as small size, hemispherical radiation, not containing infrared, rapid start, etc. Due to these features, LED headlamps have realized completely new style, excellent light distribution and innovative lighting functions. We give an outline of LED headlamp system that mainly focuses on optical system.
