There are discribed the coefficients of the relative sensitivity of a cubic photometer in this paper. The object of the author is to estimate the variation of diffused illumination at the cubic window as the variation of the length of a linear light source put into a cubic photometer. The distribution of the illumination inside a cube is very complex. If the equation of interflection inside a cube be set up by suitably dividing the inside, simultaneous equation of many unknowns, such as 58 unknowns, may be formed, but because of the difficulty of solving this equation, the diffused illumination at the window was calculated by the use of “Coefficient of Final Incident Flux”,
Then, the new, application of a cubic photometer is discribed in this paper. It is possible to measure rapidly and simply the total luminous flux of the fluorescent lamp by the use of the new method. It is the method that the fluorescent lamp passes through the small cubic photometer at constant velocity.
