On the theory of calculation of mean illuminance: abstract.
Mean illuminance is qualitatively and quantitatively a most important index in illuminating engineering. Calculation of mean illuminance should be performed with exactness and high efficiency.
The theory of calculation is examined precisely, and to make the calculation more accurate, conditional equations of weights are derived.
Calculation is to be performed with high efficiency, by the partial mean method with s points for the s-type domain, and with 2s points for the t-type domain.
One 2-dimensions mean method is projected on a line, obtaining a 1-dimension weighted mean method. Reversly a 2-dimensions mean method is constructed with a well known 1-dimension mean method for a certain domain, and correlation between 1-and 2-dimensions mean methods is made clear.
Two-dimensions mean-methods should be classified (1) transforming mean method, (2) stratisfying mean method, (3) direct mean method;(3. 1) conditioning mean method, and (3. 2) constructing mean method.
