For the purpose of surveying the applicability of the Differential OMEGA on a long distance, we made in co-operation of the Faculty of Fishery, Hokkaido University, a long term observation of the OMEGA signals at Hakodate and Tokyo for more than one year, and also at Nagasaki for six months. The differences of hourly observed data were then statistically treated for their Standard Deviations and Cross Corelation Coefficients. So far as the observed data concerns, Hakodate and Tokyo (006°, 368NM) shows a close corelation, mostly γ≧0.80; Tokyo and Nagasaki (250°, 526NM) corelate more loosely. Further, we attempted position fixes differnetially, utilizing observed PPC values of Tokyo, which showed a favorable result.
