In recent years, more opportunities to use video conferencing systems in enterprises have been increasing for meetings among remote sites. We newly developed the special support tools to the video conferencing systems, evaluated, and executed experimental conferencing for evaluation of their effectiveness. We compared the case with the support tools and the case without them, and analyzed. These video conferencing connected among four points, in making use of MCU (Multipoint Control Unit). In addition, we analyzed and studied how effectively the support tools can work in the group decisionmaking. As evaluation criteria, the group knowledge productivity level has been used, but we encounter the case where we cannot judge that the evaluation is high though the group knowledge productivity level is high. Therefore, we propose the group knowledge productivity improved rate, and evaluate by using it. As the result, we found that the group knowledge productivity improved rate of the groups using the support tools is higher than that of the other groups without using the support tools.
This paper explores factors in which situation sellers tend to open their information regarding price, lead time, capacity of production on the Internet. Openness of these kinds of information is critical for business-to-business transactions on networks. We examined the factors of determining openness of information through a questionnaire survey to the foundry, die casting, forging, press, mold and die suppliers.
As the result of analysis, we found that 1) the higher sales share of the specific customer is, the lower the intention of disclosing the seller’s information is, 2) there is no correlation between richness of the information infrastructure and the disclosing intention, and 3) the smaller the seller is, the higher the disclosing intention is.
It has been taken for granted in the corporate world that when conflicts arise, it is a zero sum game: lending support to others necessarily weakens one’s own position. This line of thinking, however, has increasingly been called into question. When multiple agents actively encounter each other in business relationships, changing as they proceed the nature of these relationships, it is no longer possible to predict outcomes based on the extraction of event factors, the correlation of these factors, or the use of linear reasoning. This is a failure of a management attempting to secure results based on the nature of relationships among these various factors. This thesis demonstrates the ways in which altruistic behavior-rather than controlling behavior—has proven to increase problem-solving ability.
An example of a problem involving moving, multiple agents is the attempt to drastically shorten the period of time it takes to bring a new automobile to market. Based on simulations, a 30 percent improvement in the altruistic decision making process vis-a-vis related agents is necessary in order to achieve this.
Furthermore, this thesis clarifies the importance of constructing an interstitial concept as an effective means of utilizing naturally occurring chaotic phenomena, and explores to the possibility of "altruism" as both a requirement and example of such a concept.
In today when speed of enterprise transformation is important, Activity with agility attracts attention. In this paper, we research EUC environment to support such an activity. At first, we pay attention to an impromptu play and extract the necessary conditions of the actor. Because a global viewpoint of the actor becomes an important hint, we consider it based on a motive of a human action. So, we quote the idea about a motive by A. Schutz, that is in-order-to motive and because-of motive. Because an act with agility moves by the quick and continual interaction with peripheral environment, we insist on having to support for awareness to the because-of motives and for drawing up the hypothesis on the basis of it. In the last, About EUC environment to realize such a support, we introduce of the technological and organizational characteristics and an example of information systems roughly.
