The B-spline curve is often used as a method to draw an arbitrary curve like a handwritten figure. However, it is difficult to operate the position of the control points for the faithful drawing. In addition, to arrange the control points by hand, a lot of experiences are needed. In this study, the concept of S-System, which is one of the extended models of Genetic Programming, is utilized for the generation of the B-spline curve. The purpose in this study is to reproduce an arbitrary curve faithfully by using a less control points and to arrange the control points automatically. The detailed procedure is as follows. The several points on the curve are selected and it is regarded as the chromosome. The crossover is practiced between two chromosomes. For the validity of this strategy, B-spline curve similar to handwritten curve is reproduced by using a less control points, and they are arranged automatically.
