Tritium dispersal rate in the air and adhesion rate on the wall from a
3H-ATP aqueous solution were simultaneously measured using a model room having six pieces of filter paper attached on the wall. A distribution of tritium on each wall was obtained from the radioactivity of each filter paper divided into 9 pieces. During an exposure time of 2 h to 24 h both dispersal and adhesion rates indicated a similar behavior. With the passage time from the purchase until 13 months both dispersal and adhesion rates linearly increased and it was found that about 0.15% per one month increased as the total rates of dispersal and adhesion.
