Among many causes which bring about the uneveness of angle transmisson of rollerchain driving system, there is an inherent and inevitable one which relates to the mechanism of chain driving directly and is corsidered one of characteristics of the roller-chain driving system.
In this paper the authors have calculated the magnitude of uneveness of transmission due to the mechanism of chain driving theoretically and checked it by some experiments at static region.
It is clarified that the experimental value of uneveness of transmission coincides with the thoretical value when some corrections were made concerning with phase angle between two sprocket wheels and frequency response of the roller-chain driving system.
