Carbon steels are widely used in the world. However, their thermophysical properties and electrial conductivity are intricately affected by many impurities. In this study, we carefully made the materials for specimens of iron-carbon binary alloys to elliminate the impurities, and measured the temperature dependence of thermal diffusivity, specific heat, thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity by using the specimens a Further, we investigated the relations between the thermal and electrical conductivities, and absolute temperature.
