Understanding of water behavior is required for the selection of large afforestation sites in arid lands. Therefore we developed an original runoff model for understanding water behavior in a closed basin in Western Australia. In this study, we derive 3 types of infiltration formula from cylinder intake-rate experiments at 2 sites with different infiltration rates to evaluate the effects of choice of the 3types on fitting parameters of the original runoff model.
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and the structural change of the demand curve by the variable rate pricing policy for plastic shopping bags. Here, the effectiveness implies the reduction effect that consumers get plastic shopping bags at shopping stores such as super markets. Data Integration Analysis System Program (DIAS-P) aims at designing and proposing an operational regime to realize public benefits through its operational application with sustainable scientific advantage for global-scale solutions, as well as prototyping the operational regime with intelligent infrastructure to create new value, enabling stakeholders in various fields to together leverage the fusion of super-large-scale various data sets and information. This paper presents our tentative reference model covering roles that the operational regime should play.
