Fatigue-Examination by Donaggio-Reaction of urine was performed on 90 (male) workers working in three shifts in a certain chemical fibre producing factory from Nov. 30th, 1957till Sept. 24th 1958. The results were as follows. 1) Values of Dnaggio-Reaction increase with the rise of temperature both of seasons and actual working places. 2) Values of Donaggio-Reaction differ with shift at any post. The cause of these defferences has yet to be studied. 3) Values of Donaggio-Reaction after work have a tendency to decrease in comparison with these before work, and the decreasing ratio is different among posts and shifts. The cause of this tendency must be studied in future. 4) In the future fatigue-examinations, effects of seasons, posts, number of workers and other factors must adequately be taken into considerarions, and the examinations must be designed so thar such unnecessary factors will eliminated in the evaluation of the results.

The authors made an investigation on the reliability of measurement with the benzene detection tube, which is widely used as a rutine in order to measure the amount of benzene and its homologus in the air of workshops. The results of the investigation were as follows. The richer the benzene concentration in the air, the larger the probable error of the mean of obtained values whereas the coefficient of vareation of obtained values at a minimum. The same results were obtained in cases of toluene and its mixture with benzene. In the estimation of the benzene-like mist in the workshop air evaporated from sprayed paint, values got with benzene-detecion tubes showed half the values obtained by the sulphuric acid-formalin method.

A case who had the experience of use of vibrating tools was examinated electromyographically. He had white finger attack and atrophy of muscle of hands. In EMG. the findings coresponding to peripheral neural damage and muscle atrophy were obtained. Abnormal patterns existed only in both M. abd. dig. V.. It was assumed that the neural damage might be primary injury antecedent to muscle atrophy.
