    To propose the method organizing fact data bases which seemed essential to give a concrete form of NIST Plan multidisciplinary data base was constructed experimentally concerning 205 of chemical substances. This comprehensive group of data bases is called a data base covering general areas. The system of retrieving and analyzing the data base was designed by use of the existing general purpose DBMS. The system evaluation based on the wide ranged use study, preparation cost of the data base as well as the subject content would be give useful information for fact data base activities from now on.
