The author clarified in his last report, Part II, that the information broker business in American has its origin in Europe. In the present report, he has undertaken an analysis of the present conditions of the information broker business in the United States which has attained a rapid growth in spite of many problems it is confronted with, for example, a flood of one-man businesses undertaken by librarians and business firms, information specialists who have quit their former jobs, requiring a renovation of the whole structure of information service trade. He has further touched upon the future trend of the information service business in American and the influence it will exert on such business in other countries.
