A “corporate library” is always expected to cope with changing corporate's needs and an increasingly diverse information society. Therefore, the Technical Information Center in Fujitsu Limited has clarified its mission as a “corporate library” and established “management guidelines” as the central policy of its activities in 2004. This paper introduces the concepts prescribed in the management guidelines, correspondence with users, dissemination of information, improvement of documentation control work, enhancement of customer satisfaction, and activities to promote utilization by users.
