The beginning of EHR (Electronic Health Record) can be traced back to the examination of the medical information common standard in 1995 (MML: Medical Markup Language). In 2001, EHR with database structure of MML was developed and expanded to Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Tokyo, Kyoto (Dolphin Project). After that, the necessity of medical information management at national level and the importance of secondary use of medical information came to be recognized. In 2015 the country level version of the Dolphin Project "The Millennial Medical Record Project" began. We will increase the number of connected hospitals in 4 years until 2018 and prepare for secondary use of medical information starting from 2019. We are aiming for independent profit including EHR department by revenue of secondary use of data without relying on government subsidies.

OpenStreetMap is a global activity aimed at creating open data maps. Because the created map data can be used freely by anyone and participants can participate in the creation of maps themselves, OpenStreetMap is also called "Map Wikipedia". In addition to being able to simply use a map as an image, its source data can be acquired and data processing is possible, so that its utilization is widely spread, including corporate activities and academic research. In this paper, we introduce the activities of communities around the world involved in the creation of OpenStreetMap and the maintenance situation and utilization by administration in Aizuwakamatsu city, Fukushima Prefecture.

As activities to drive forward the fourth industrial revolution, efforts are being made to innovate the logistics industry. Plagued by a labor shortage and inefficiency in its business operations, the industry has high expectations that smart digital logistics, which incorporate IoT, AI and robotics technologies, will help to resolve these issues. Measures and roadmaps for reducing energy use and manpower in transport and at distribution centers and optimizing supply chains are being developed and activities have been started based on these roadmaps. Logistics companies are active in introducing robots for transport and sorting operations within their distribution facilities, experimenting with use of drones for last-mile delivery, and providing solutions for optimizing supply chains. Faced with a severe labor shortage, especially of truck drivers, they are rapidly making efforts for commercial development of trucks driven in a linked convoy and automated driving.
