The authors examined the tensile bond strengths of composite resins made of six different commercial bonding agents and two kinds of resin cement to human dentin etched with phosphoric acid. The tensile bond strength was 2.0-9.0 MPa; and the composition of the bonding agent and the liquid part of the resin cement greatly influences this tensile bond strength.
The granular ducts of the submandibular glands of female mice present masculinization signs after administration of some exogenous steroids. It was observed that the injection of a progestational compound, medroxyprogesterone acetate, induced a significant increase in submandibular gland weight and a distinct enlargement of the granular ducts. It was shown that such stimulation occurs even when the ovaries are not present
The authors studied, through replantation of rat incisors, the effect of extraalveolar time upon postoperative events. Root resorption and ankylosis seemed to be particularly affected by this factor.
