ジャーナル フリー1. 2, 3-Bisphosphoglycerate phosphatase was partly purified by CM-cellulose column chromatography.
2. The enzyme activity was stable in the 50°C case of preincubation up to 30 min. By the addition of 4 mM 2-phosphoglycolate to the preincubation mixture activity remained perfect up to 30 min in the 55°C case of preincubation.
3. This enzyme was inhibited by low concentrations of p-chloromercuribenzoate and heavy metal ions. These results suggest that this enzyme is an SH-enzyme.
4. The reaction mechanism was of a ping-pong type.
5. Inhibition types of dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde phosphate were uncompetitive against 2, 3-bisphosphoglycerate and competitive against 2-phosphoglycolate.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (763K) -

ジャーナル フリーThe purpose of this study was to verify histologically the biocompatibility of the tissue conditioners, F. I. T. T., Lynal, Visco-gel, and a zinc oxide and eugenol impression paste, when placed in intraoral wounds and surgical osseous cavities in rats. It was possible to conclude that the paste was the most irritating material. Among the tissue conditioners, Lynal and Visco-gel presented similar results and were more biocompatible.
The biocompatibility of tissue conditioners was verified histologically using 120 albino rats. The animals operated on in the palatal mucosa were sacrificed after 2, 5, 10, and 15 postoperative days, and those operated on in the mandible were sacrificed after 4, 8, 16, and 30 postoperative days. Based on histological sections, it was possible to conclude that zinc oxide and eugenol impression paste is the most irritating material to the tissues; the tissue conditioners presented varying degrees of biocompatibility and the best results were provided by “Lynal” and “Visco-gel.”抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (2067K) -

ジャーナル フリーMany patients have such feelings as anxiety, fear or strain towards dental therapy. These feelings can bring about physiological changes, chiefly on sympathetic nerves, and in the extreme, can cause psychogenic cerebral anemia. For this reason it is important to lessen these feelings.
It is possible to do this with hypnosis, but there are many problems with this method. For example, the doctor's level of skill in administering this technique and the patient's dependence on the doctor must be taken into consideration. Therefore, it is not used very often.
Autogenic training diminishes sensitivity by autohypnosis, so it must be efficient because the doctor does no have much time to work with the patient to achieve an effective level of hypnosis.
The patients were divided into three groups, one group was given autogenic training, the second group was given Lorazepam, an anti-anxiety drug, and the third group was given no treatment. Fingertip-capacity pulse and heart-pulse were counted as physiological saline solution was injected into the oral musoca. The results from these groups sugggest that the sympathetic nervous system can be controlled to a certain extent by a variety of fingertip-capacity-pulses and the patients complained less of pain on injection.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (694K) -

ジャーナル フリーPleomorphic adenomas of the lower lip are rare. We described a case of a pleomorphic adenoma in the lower lip of a 53-year-old female.
