THE PROBLEM REGARDING TOWNSCAPE HAS COME TO OCCUPY AN IMPORTANT POSITION TO MAKE THE ORIGINALITY IN A DISTRICT. IT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS PAPER TO PROPOSE AN EVALUATION OF DISTRICT-SCAPE CONSIDERING THE DISTRICT IMAGE. THIS PAPER INCLUDES THREE CONTAINS;THE FIRST IS TO SELECT CHARACTERISTIC OF DISTRICT-SCAP WITH SD METHOD. THE SECOND IS TO STUDY THE EVALUATION OF DISTRICT-SCAPE USING THE FACTOR ANALYSIS. THE THIRD IS TO EXAMINE THE COMBINATION OF DISTRICT-SCAPE IMAGE. FINALLY, WE CONCLUDE THAT A REGIONAL CHARACTER HAS AN IMPORTANT INFLUENCE ON AN EVALUATION OF DISTRICT-SCAPE.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO CLARIFY THE INFLUENCES OF THE MOVING ELEMENTS IN TOWNSCAPE THROUGH THE APPRAISING EXPERIMENT. IN REGARD TO APPRAISING EXPERIMENT OF TOWNSCAPE, WE USED VIDEO TAPE AS THE STIMULUS. THOSE TAPES WERE RECORDED ON THE SELECTED SPACES SUCH AS COMMERCIAL AND BUSINESS DISTRICTS AND PARKS. RESULTS OF THIS STUDY ARE AS FOLLOWS, 1)THE IMAGE OF TOWNSCAPE ARE CONSIST OF 3 FACTORS, FLOURISH, POTENCY AND PREFERENCE. 2)THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF TEST SUBJECTS TEND TO CONCENTRATE ON MOVING ELEMENTS. 3)THROUGH THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS,THERE IS NOT SO GREAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIDEO TAPE AND FILMSTRIP.

FOR THE SIGN SYSTEM, THIS STUDY EXPLORES THAT PEDESTRIAN OBTAINS INFORMATION AND MOVES TO PURPOSE PLACE IN CITY. SECOND IS HOLDING A QUESTIONNAIRE OF USING SITUATION WITH GUIDE INFORMATION WHICH IS PICKED UP A PART OF TEXT. THE OTHER WAY IS THAT PEDESTRIAN PLOTS INFORMATION WHICH HE KNEW IT IN THREE STEPS; WITHOUT ANY DATA, REFRENCE TO MAP WITH ROAD'S NAME AND REFRENCE TO PHOTO OF BUILDING. ACCORDING TO THE PLOTTED INFORMATIONS, WE MEASURED THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PLOTTED POSITION AND REAL POSITION FOR EFFECTIVENESS OF INFORMATION.

USING THE VACS, UNDER THE COOPERATION OF 1,922 PARTICIPANTS FROM NINE REGIONS, DIFFERENT GENERATIONSS AND PROFESSIONS, AND THROUGH THREE STEPS SURVEY, A DYNAMIC CAPITAL COMPLEX AS THE COMMON VISION IS CREATED. FURTHERMORE, THE MAGNIFICATION OF COMMON RECOGNITION AND THE ENRICHMENT OF EVERY PARTICIPAT'S PROPER IMAGE IS ACHIEVED. FROM THIS CONCRETE PRACTICE AND PARTICIPANTS' EVALUATION THE VACS IS AN EFFECTIVE APPROACH TO CREATE A VISION OF NEW CAPITAL.

THIS ARTICLE AIMS TO MEASURE THE INFLUENCE OF A REMOVAL OF LOCAL RAILWAYS ON THE REGIONAL POPULATION. TENPOKU, NAYORO AND SHIBETSU LINES ARE SELECTED AS THE OBJECT OF THIS STUDY, THEY WERE LOCATED IN THE NORTH TO NORTH-WEST AREAS IN HOKKAIDO BEFORE THE REMOVAL IN 1989. IN THIS PAPER, FIRST, TREND-SEASONAL VARIATION MODELS ARE ESTIMATED FOR THE POPULATIONS OF THE STUDY AREAS USING TIME SERIES DATA ON THE POPULATION. SECOND, THE STEPWISE CHOW TEST IS APPLIED TO EXAMINE WHETHER OR NOT THERE WAS A STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE STUDY AREAS. FINALLY, THE NUMBERS OF CHANGES IN THE REGIONAL POPULATIONS AFTER THE REMOVAL ARE MEASURED BY THE TREND-SEASONAL VARIATION MODELS.

THIS PAPER PRESENTS A STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF OUT/IN MIGRATION ON RURAL DEPOPULATED COMMUNITY AS REPRESENTED BY A CASE STUDY AREA OF TOCHIO CITY NIIGATA PREFECTURE. IN THIS PAPER, WE DEVELOP THE TWO KIND OF MODELS TO ANALYSE THE STRUCTURE OF THE DEPOPULATED COMMUNITY. THE FIRST MODEL IS THE OCCUPATION CHOICE MODEL BASED ON THE CONJOINT ANALYSIS, AND THE SECOND IS THE OUT/IN MIGRATION MODEL. AS THE RESULT, IT BECAME CLEAR THAT THE EFFECTIVE COUNTERPLAN ARE TO RISE THE CONVENIENCES AND TO CONSOLIDATE THE LIFE ENVIROMENTS.

IN THESE YEARS, SOME OF EXCHANGE PROJECTS HAVE BECOME ACTIVE BETWEEN LARGE CITY AND A RURAL AREA. ESPECIALLY, IN THE RURAL MUNICIPALITIES THEY CONSIDER SUCH PROJECTS AS SOME OF THE REGIONAL PROMOTION MEASURES. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO EVALUATE THE URBAN-RURAL EXCHANGE PROJECTS WHICH THEY PROMOTE ACTUALLY THROUGH A SURVEY OF THE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAM FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN. THE SURVEY IS CARRIED OUT TO THE PLANNERS IN THE EXCHANGE PROJECTS. ITS DATA ARE COLLECTED AS THE LINGUISTIC VARIABLES. WE DEVELOP A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR EVALUATING THE FUZZY UTILITY FUNCTION USING THE LINGUISTIC VARIABLES. WE ALSO PROPOSE THE FUZZY STRUCTURAL MODELING BY USING THE DIFFERENCE OF UTILITIES AND THE FUZZY CONTRIBUTIVE RULE. IN TERMS OF THE TECHNIQUE WE CAN EVALUATE THE ACTUAL FACTS AND MATTERS MORE FLEXIBLY AND MORE REALISTICALLY.

WATERSHED CLASSIFICATION IS A POSSIBLE WAY TO REFLECT WATERSHED ENVIRONMENT TO RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT. IN THIS PAPER A METHOD OF WATERSHED CLASSIFICATION IS PROPOSED. THIS METHOD HAS FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS: (1) BRANCH WATERSHEDS ARE USED AS LAND UNITS, (2) ENVIRONMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS IANDFORM,GEOLOGY AND SOIL ARE CONSIDERED. TO CONFIRM THE SUITABILITY. OF THIS METHOD, A CASE STUDY WAS CARRIED OUT. THE WATERSHEDS OF ARA-KAWA RIVER SYSTEM CONTAINING 232 BRANCHES WERE CLASSIFIED INTO 10 GROUPS. EACH GROUP SHOWED ITS UNIQUE VEGETATION AND LAND-USE COMPOSITION AND RIVER CHARACTERISTICS. THESE RESULTS INDICATED THAT THE PROPOSED METHOD SUCCESSFULLY CLASSIFIED THE WATERSHEDS FROM THE POINT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT.

THIS PAPER SHOWS, 1) HOUSES WITHOUT PARKING SPACE HAVE LARGER VACANT AREA THAN THOSE WITH PARKRNG SPACE. 2) ON SMALL LOT, PLANTING SPACE IS REDUCED BY PARKING SPACE. BUT FEW PARKING POLICIES APPLY TO SMALL LOTS THAT NEED TO PROVIDE PARKING SPACES. AND SYSTEMS THAT PRESERVE RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT HAVE NOT BEEN ENFORCED. 本論文では、北京と東京における商業地区の歩行者優先整備の事例調査をもとに、以下に示す三つの内容について考察を行っている: 1)北京と東京の商業地区における歩行者優先整備の分類、及び二大都市における歩行者優先商店街の比較 2)商業地区とその周辺の物的要素に適合した歩行者優先整備手法と整備内容の検討 3)歩行者優先整備の環境的、社会的、経済的な効果の検討、及び商業地区の物的要素との関係。これらの研究をもとに、特に北京の商業地区における環境整備について、今後の整備課題を明らかにする。本研究は歩行者に配慮した空間を創出する際に有意義であると考えられる。

USING THIS PROGRAM WHICH FACILITATES COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION, SQUATTER COMMUNITIES CAN ASK HOUSING LOANS BY HOLDING MORTGAGE ON LANDS. THE CMP HAS PLANTED ITS ROOTS DEEPLY IN PHILIPPINES. BUT BY REASON OF THE RELATIVELY LITTLE RETURNS OF THE HOUSING LOANS, THE CMP IS SITUATED AT CRITICAL POINT. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CMP DEPENDS ON THE ORIGINATORS WHICH ARE CONSISTED OF NGOS AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND THE TASK OF THE ORIGINATORS IS VERY IMPORTANT. WE SELECT SHIRONE CITY IN NIIGATA PREFECTURE. AND WE FIND THAT 1)AS THE TREND OF THE PREFECTURE THE DEVELOPMENTS HAVE BEEN DONE IN LOOSE REGULATION AREAS MORE THAN IN REGULATION AREAS, AND 2)IN SHIRONE CITY, OVER 70 PERCENTAGE OF DEVELOPMENTS HAVE BEEN DONE IN LOOSE REGULATION AREAS. AND THERE IS A LOT OF DEVELOPMENT WHICH DOSEN'T NEED PERMISSION BECAUSE OF ITS SMALL SIZE.
