The aim that was set this time was to innovate Psychoanalytic Systems theory (PAS theory) to the self-care model and by intervening to patients who act out, meaning to clarify the intervening method and treatment factor of CNS in psychiatric nursing towards patients with acting out through case research. 9 patients who showed acting out were subjects. The research was implemented through the period of April 2015 to January, 2016. Intervening techniques of CNS towards patients with acting out were: “clarification of anger toward objects”, “containing the energy of anger”, “to maintain psychological distance with unpleasant objects”, “to avoid the stressor that triggers acting out”, “to acknowledge the stressor for acting out”, “positive feedback of energy operation”, “focusing on love objects”, “promoting and reinforcing performance”, “exchanging affectionate energy”, “considering other ways of handling than acting out”, “acquisition of coping behaviors”, “reviewing reality testing”, “protection of damaged and vulnerable inner world”, “clarifying the boundary with the mother”, “securing the boundary between inner and outer world”, and “clarifying the desire, wish and will of the patient” were extracted. Also for the treatment factor producing the result: “providing safe space to anger”, “retaining the safe space”, “amplification of operating energy”, “transformation of energy usage”, “empathic understanding”, “coping”, “expansion of ego function”, “reinforcement of boundary between self and others”, and “clarification of libidinal vector” were extracted. This time, the intervention in which PAS theory was implemented in the self-care model, is thought to have improved the self-care of the patient.
