In this paper, we propose an integrated evacuation assist system for estimation of evacuation plans against disasters caused by CBR terrorism. In this system, we develop a pedestrian simulator working with hazard prediction systems of outdoor and indoor gas diffusion, which calculates how harmful gases spread. Using data provided from hazard prediction systems, our assist system can be used to estimate how much damage will be done, for various evacuation scenarios. These results could be used to make and evaluate evacuation plans against CBR terrorism.
There is a rise in need for anti-terrorism technology, due to the growing fear against terrorism.In this paper, we show how to combine pedestrian simulator with gas diffusion simulator, to estimate damages done by CBR terrorist attacks. We focus on the information that needs to be shared and exchanged between the systems.
In this paper, we develop the information sharing system with mobile rescue robots in confined space. We use MISP to communicate among robots, the geographical information database systems DaRuMa. We defined the specialized data type for the 3D scan data set and developed the viewer client program darumaviewer, in order to deal with the data effectively. The experimental result shows our system can run in realtime.
災害現場で利用される端末などの試作においては,ハードウエアおよびソフトウエアの試作と評価を繰り返しながら,スパイラルな設計方法が必要とされる.本稿では,新たなフィジカルコンピューティング・プラットフォームについて説明する.また,紹介したフィジカルコンピューティング・プラットフォームを活用し,災害活動時の安全確保のために作業員の転倒を検知するセンサを試作した事例紹介し,その有効性を論じる.
It is important problem to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of crowed spaces such as station's platform and concert venue. There are a lot of problematic situations that people encounter in real life, especially in emergency. There are some crowd simulations that perform the situation of disaster evacuation. Those simulations aim to design environment in order to realize effective refuge behavior. However, we would like to offer a difference approach to provide safety for the publics. That is, we assume the situation that some people used a personal navigation system. In this paper, we explain some wearable devices to use navigation system, and discuss the target situation of crowd simulation.
