New engineering design courses called engineering design I and II have already been implemented on approximately 2000 sophomore students since 1996, at the Kanazawa Institute of Technology. In these courses, students carry out their own team project, faculties do not have lectures and written test. So faculties have to know student's individual performance well. We intend to establish the method that grade individual student's contribution to the team achievement. In other word, we intended to establish the method that grade individual student precisely, accurately and fairly. In this paper, we investigate and analyze the relationship between student's peer evaluations and individual activities that are observed objectively. As a first step, we would like to know the student's point of view when they evaluate each other.

The final report on the university of the 21st century and measures for necessary reform submitted by the university council in October 1998 described many of the problems in the present university education and proposed the necessary measures for improvement. The report was fundamentally written from a viewpoint of university representatives although some members from industry participated in the council. In the new era, university education should not be the responsibility of the university only but it should be considered as cooperation between industry and university.
In this paper, the followings are discussed; 1. What can industry contribute to the improvement of university education? 2. How does industry effectively cooperate with universities for educating students in the engineering department who are expected to maintain and strengthen industrial technology and to realize Japan's leading the world by a high standard of technology.

Now a time most of young people do not have inclination for science and engineering. Young engineers in company have change in quality for technology. So many technical design section managers in company want to re-educate the dynamics required subjects in university. The author consider the cause for re-education, and show the main cause is the changing in design system in company. It is necessary to improve the technical training system the company should educate young engineers in co-operation closelywith university.

The author of this article has already published six articles that discuss educational perspectives on student's course evaluation to mechanical design. From 1995 to 1997, the course evaluation has been implemented five times at Science University of Tokyo where the author serves as a facul-ty member. The questionnaire used for the course evaluation was structured in a five-scaling score and the five course evaluations were given to different groups of students. The average score of these surveys was 3.58. In 1998, the author has changed its text and course contents. Comparing its resulting score of course evaluation with the previous ones, this study found that its average score decreased approximately 0.5 than before. This article investigated why such a decrease has been occurred. As a result, the author concluded that the new course materials increased student's work hard.

This report presents the outline of"Practical Experience in Factory (Internship)" for fourth-year students at the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering, Nagano National College of Technology. The internship has various advantage for both of participant students and accepting enterprises. The students make commuting to the training enterprises from their home (the homecoming ground), as a rule.
This project also makes possible to link the college students with the enterprises and to understand the local firm.
