Recent our effort is focused on how to teach attractive, undestandable and practical engineering to the students.
Some plans were discussed to carry out a new engineering education. One of the new trials was designing and manufacturing of a model strling engine, which ias nowadays one of the most interesting one for the students.
In the third year, a model was manufactured. In their senior year, the students first designed basically and, next, computer-simulated for the practical use.
Here, thogh the order is in reverse to the ordinary process, the results are pretty good, some of which are as follows; the leacture bacame more understandable for the students and their motivation was heightened, the students' ability for designing was mafe better and so on.
