In education of plastic arts for children in the developmental stage, formative play is considered important, and various practices are being conducted in kindergartens, elementary schools, and children’s centers. In this study, we aim to extend the play by scanning and seamlessly presenting the modeled objects obtained through formative play. In this paper, we report on the “Moji-Moji-Jikken” system, which was implemented as an extension of formative play to craft characters shape, and the results of two workshops that utilized the system. The effectiveness of the system is also discussed based on the children's mental activity and the use of the system in these workshops.
