    Regarding the alpine competition at the 4th-8th Jingu Tournament, we will clarify the participation of the players in the local qualifying and final rounds, the preparations for the event, and the state of the 6th and 8th Jingu Tournament and the championship. The following has been clarified.
    1. Except for non-snowy areas in southwestern Japan Downhil(l 1928) and slaom( 1930) were carried out nationwide in local qualifying, so it is thought that the number of athletes in the Alpine event has spread year by year. As for the characteristics of the results, the superiority of Shinetsu, who has the tradition of Alpine since Lerch, was remarkable.
    2. After the venue for the final round was decided, the preparation for the competition was entrusted to a leading ski organization in the region, but it was a national event by the chief of the Ministry of Interior, and the support of the responsible road and prefecture was obtained. It is probable that preparations for the event were made well.
    3. It was found that a tournament that doubles as both tournaments was held between the 6th Jingu Tournament and the championship, and that the federation decided to host the tournament as a tournament that doubles as the 8th tournament of the previous year in 1937.
    4. The number of athletes who participated in the Alpine competition by 1932 increased nationwide, and the federation also gained experience in preparing for the event, indicating that it was possible to hold the event.

    The mechanism of ski driving still has not been completed clarified. Previous studies have reported that as the driving speed increases in alpine skiing, the coefficient of the kinetic friction between the ski sliding surface and the snow surface decreases, and the strength of higher order frequencies generated in the ski board increases. However, the mechanism of the cross-country ski driving has not been studied yet and it is unknown what kind of influence the similar high-order vibration frequency has on the driving. In this study, by conducting hammering test by the Impulse hammer, vibration experiment by the simulated vibration generation simulator system, analysis of frequency strength of board, characteristics of cross-country ski such as relationship between sliding speed and coefficient of kinetic friction were clarified.
