In this study, in order to create inexpensive micrometer-sized texturing, a polyvinyl chloride solvent dissolved in
acetone was prepared. The solvent droplet was dropped on a silicon substrate, and placed between parallel plate
electrodes. The effects of concentration, DC/AC and their combination voltage on micrometer-sized plastic texturing were clarified. As a result, it was clarified that the micrometer-sized plastic texture could be dispersed most on the surface by applying AC 11 Hz in the early stage of the solvent evaporation, and that the protrusion height increased with the concentration and DC voltage.
