The history of PCA (the prime candidate alloy for nuclear fusion materials) is described. The basis on the selection of PCA is introduced. The properties of PCA before and after irradiation is shown. The data base is being promoted. The future problems to be solved is also discussed
Some coaxial Marx generators and diagnostics were developed to apply to relativistic electron beam experiments. The key points in the developments are to suppress the inductance and noise of the devices. The key points, fabrications, characteristics, and general descriptions for the devices are described in this paper.
A simple spectrometer is designed in which a transmission grating is adopted to disperse vacuum ultraviolet radiation and space resolution is achieved by using an aperture of the grating as a one-dimensional analog of a pin hole camera. Wave length resolution is calculated to be less than 5A°.
