We propose a ground point extraction method from airborn laser scanner data by using bilateral minimum and bilateral maximum filters. The ground point can take advantages of such as inundation inside a levee, inundation by river water, and tsunami simulations. Through experiments which is used airborn laser scanner data of area with inclination, slope, buildings, and plants, we verify the effectiveness of oure method. Finally we comment on the respects in which our method is improved and on future prospects.
GPM (global precipitation measurement) core observatory was launched by H-IIA･F23 rocket on 28 February, 2014 successfully. The first light images by mission instruments ; DPR (dual-frequency precipitation radar) and GMI (GPM microwave imager) were released on 25 March, 2014 by JAXA/NASA, which are verifying qualitative precipitation intensity in vertical and horizontal distribution. This review is describing overview of GPM core observatory with DPR, GMI, status of GPM constellation satellites, and GSMaP (global satellite mapping of precipitation).
The Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2 “Daichi-2” (ALOS-2) was successfully launched by the H-IIA launch vehicle No. 24 at 12:05:14 p.m. on May 24 2014 (Japan Standard Time). And critical operation phase was successfully completed on May 27 2014. PALSAR-2 (Phased Array type L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar-2) is the main mission instrument, have a spotlight mode (1 to 3m res.), a high resolution mode (3 to 10m res.) and a wide swath “ScanSAR” mode (60 to 100m res.). ALOS-2 will conducted (1) Disaster monitoring, (2) Archiving national land and infrastructure information related data, (3) Monitoring of cultivated area, and (4) Global monitoring.

In addition, it also introduces software to automate up to creation of ortho-mosaic image and DSM from analysis aerial triangulation using computer vision technology, aerial photographic images taken at a high overlap ratio from the point of view of photogrammetry.
