    The purpose of this study is to find out general design method for welfare equipments for the physically handicapped by analysis some designed and produced welfare equipments. We chose some bath and transport equipments for the physically handicapped which using in Hospital, Rehabilitation center and Home daily living. Analysis are as follows; (1) Impairment level and degree of assist. (2) Analysis of bath and transport equipments on Man-Machine-Man system. 1) Classification of bath and transport equipments for the physically handicapped. 2) Comparison on function of bath and transport equipments. 3) Construction of aid equipments for bathing. 4) Correspondence of system for bathing assist and impairment level. 5) Evaluation of system on constructed assist system and assist activities for bathing for the physically handicapped.

    〓〓〓 〓〓 〓〓〓 〓〓〓〓〓〓 〓〓 Modern Poster Design as an independent art is Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. He produced many paintings as well as posters. Both his posters and paintings are, in the aspects of techniques applied and themes adopted, so intimately related to one another that one could not understand his art as a whole without taking their interdependence into account. He first painted some tableaux on a certain theme, and after drawing some sketches, that could be regarded as original designs, he then proceeded to work on posters on the same theme. This study is concerned with the following two areas; an essential background for the production of his posters - how he perceived objects and how he acquired the basics of painting techniques, and with the encounter of painter and designer inside one rather miraculous personality: Toulouse-Lautrec. In order to verify my opinions about this study, I referred to the examples, "MOULINROUGE: LA BOULUE", "JANE AVRIL" and "LA REVUE BLANCHE".

    A machematical analysis of the relationship between the circle inscribing a square in space and its perspective image on the picture plane was made. The following facts have been disclosed: 1) The image of the circle on the perspective plane is in the form of an ellipse. 2) The ellipse has its inclinational limit and the angle of limitation is relative to the shape of the ellipse. 3) Quadrilaterals circumscribing the ellipse vary in accordance with the shape and the inclination of the ellipse. Employing the above mentioned results, a new method for the perspective construction of a circle has been developed. This method is very accurate and simple in all aspects compared with the conventional ones.

    The purpose of this study was to stabilise the standarlized measures which evaluated the simple form composing ability of designers. Each professional designer has a personal norm for evaluation, but it seems that there are common elements. Evaluation was possible by free five-step scales or by Semantic differential (SD) scales. There were unique judges in free scale evaluation. It could be found out by the kind of SD scales in which he made unique scorings. For fifteen SD scale, both designers and students of design did nearly same judgement. The result of factor analysis were following. The first factor was to be called "general good-bad factor". The second one was related to the "balance" of the composition. Adding to fifteen SD scales, three scales, named "creativity", "originality", and "novelty" scales, were scored by designers. Each newly induced scale was analysed by factor analysis method. The first factor showed "general type of judgement". These three scales must be important in the case of evaluations for designers.

    In Display, the mode of participation on the visitors' side might be said to have two aspects・ one outside the Exhibition Spot, the other at the Exhibition Spot itself. The former being treated in my previous paper, the present one purposes to make an analytical research into the latter aspect, "Behavioral patterns of the visitors at the Exhibition Spot itself". The contents are: (1) Considerations of the functions of connect space at the Exhibition. 1) Gate-Zone 2) Ticket Booth (2) Considerations of characteristics observed in the behaviors of visitors at the Exhibition Spot. 1) Those from mental demands: a) movements - traffic line, speed, crowd condition, etc. b) some behavioral patterns of appreciation. 2) Those from physical demands such: a) In relation to Time b) In relation to Service
