The purpose of this study was to clarify developmental process of self-disgust in adolescence. Three hundred and four adolescents described their experiences of self-disgust, and from their responses, twenty-four self-disgust item clusters were constructed. One thousand and one hundred seventy-four adolescents including junior, senior high school students, and university students completed this questionnaire. From the result of the factor analysis, the self-disgust was classified into fourteen factors. By applying third-order factor analysis, two factors were found. One is self-disgust to oneself and the other is self-disgust regarding their relations to others. From these two factors of self-disgust, it became obvious that developmental process of self-disgust regarding their relations to others emerged earlier than self-disgust to oneself.

Reservedness is negatively releted to some achievement motivation's dimensions of both male and female undergraduates.

Moreover, main findings ware as follows; 7 levels are included in"the Questions": measuring, developmental, structure-analitical, psychodynamical, typological, socio-historical, and ontological levels (Pattern II). Furthermore, the Questions have 3 Viewpoints, that is, from view of Adolescenthood, from view of Generation, and from view of Individuality (Pattern III). Terms used in"the Questions", ought to be flexible, tender, and holistic, which was named"generic"according to Allport, G.W.(Pattern IV).
