ジャーナル フリーIn Sapporo, Hokkaido, a female and 5 male cats were affected with feline infectious anemia. All of them were suffering from splenomegaly, in addition to anemia, anorexia, and depression, and two of them from mild icterus and hemoglobinuria. Hematological examination of 5 cats revealed a marked decrease in erythrocytic resistance and the presence of erythrocytes containing granules positive for Prussion blue staining. In 2 cats, there was an increase in large-lymphocyte-like monocytes in the course of disease. These cells often phagocytized erythrocytes. ジャーナル フリー猫の自然感染Tp症2例に遭遇したので, その所見を報告した
1. 臨床症状は, 持続性発熱, 食欲不振, 呼吸困難が両症例に共通して見られ, 第1例は, 胸水貯留と腸間膜リンパ節の腫大が, 第2例は腹水貯留が認められた.
2. 病理学的検索において, 実質臓器における変性巣の出現, 反応結合織増生および瀰漫性の網内系活性化が主な変化であり, これとともに胸膜および腹膜に炎症性変化が見られた.しかしながら, 両例の病理組織像には若干の差異が認められた.
3. 第1例は, 病状の進行に伴うHA抗体価の上昇と, 臓器接腫マウスの脳内にcystが検出されたことから, 第2例は, 塗抹標本による増殖型Tpの確認, 脳内pseu do cyst様物の検出, ならびに典型的な急性Tp症に一致する病理所見から, それぞれTp症と診断した.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (7329K) -

ジャーナル フリー見かけ上健康なブタ436頭の消化管内容につき, Yersiniaenterbcbliticaの検索を行ない, 下記の成績をえた.
1. 25頭 (5.7%) よりY.enterocbliticaを検出した. なお, Y.pseudotuberculbsisま1頭 (0.2%) より検出した.
2.Y.enterocoliticaは血清学的に, 0: 3 (6株), 0: 5 (12株), 0: 7 (1株), 0: 10 (1株), 0.11 (1株), および0: 12 (1株) の6群に分けられた. このほか, .0: 1から0: 34の血清に反応しない4株があった.Lpseudbtuberculosisは11型であった.
3. ブタにおけるY.enterocbliticaの保菌について, 季節, 消化管内における分布, およびブタの飼育環境などについて考察した.

ジャーナル フリーTCND vaccine seemed to be affected with maternal antibody. Hemagglutination-inhibiting (HI) titer was significantly higher (p<0.05) in chicks vaccinated at 4 weeks of age than in those at 3 weeks of age. It was not presumed that at 4 weeks of age antibody production after inoculation with TCND vaccine might be inhibited in chicks which had been administered with B1 vaccine in drinking water once 4 days of age or twice at 4 days and 2 weeks of age.
There was a statistically significant (P<0.01) negative correlation between HI titer before inoculation with TCND vaccine and HI titer increasing 2 weeks after the inoculation. It was assumed that the higerh HI titer before inoculation, the more severely antibody production by TCND vaccine might be inhibited.
