Pressure points at the lower part of scapular region suggest the existence of eye disease, upper part-disease of pharynx and larynx, and intermediate part-disease of ear and nose, almost exactly
Taking into consideration for the pathological physiology of the so called “Kidney negative (minus) syndrome” in Kampo medicine what corresponde to neuroadrenal-genital syndrome (MATSUO K A, 1962) and show main symptoms about the upper part and lower part of human body, the author originated the vision of vertical dimension in human pathological physiology to arrange and decide the disease of both upper and lower part of human body.
Both pressure points at scapular region and gluteus region, the later well known as Onodera's pressure points for the stomach, duodenal and intestinal disease, are proved in “Kidney negative (minus) syndrome”, as well as another objective symptoms; tension and stiffness of muscles, papulation, induration of subcutanous tissue, electrodermal points and hypersensitive areas of low frequency currents residing in region of nerve Th

The disposition of pressure points at scapular and gluteus produces the idea of elemental topology in thought of medicine.
