The acupuncture impedance (material: Ag, Au and Stainless steel) in the 0.9% NaCl solution was measured in the frequency range 0.05 to 100kHz, and the value of measuring current was 10×10
-6, 100×10
-6 and 1×10
-3 Amp. respectively at the fixed liquid temperature of 25±1°C.
The following results were found:
1) The characteristic curves of the acupuncture impedance were dependent on the frequency and measuring current.
2) In the frequency range less than 0.5kHz, acupuncture impedance seems to depend upon the conductance between NaCl solution and metal material.
3) In the frequency range from 0.05 to 10kHz, the Stainless steel acupuncture impedance was larger than the others.
4) In the frequency less than 10kHz, the Ag acupuncture had the highest fidelity of the electric current form of all the others.
