The relation of student ratings of teaching to student self-ratings of learning, examination scores, student satisfaction with the course, teacher's personality and achievement motive were analyzed. Participants were 70 advanced vocational school students, enrolled in developmental psychology course. The main results were as follows:(1)Student ratings of teaching was positively correlated with student self-ratings.(2)Student satisfaction with the class and student ratings of teacher's personality were positively correlated with student ratings of teaching, achievement motive.(3)Students' self-fulfilment achievement motive differently affected their ratings of teaching, self-ratings of learning, students' satisfaction with the course and teacher's personality. These findings suggest that students' factors, such as self-fulfilment achievement motive and competitive achievement motive may influence to student ratings of teaching and student self-ratings about learning.
