We carried out a conditioning check for the first-year students of national institute of technology. The purpose of this study to let the students have a habit of observing the relationship between their mind and body objectively; and relevantly recognize and handle the change of their conditions for themselves quickly. It was suggested that the subjects improved their lifestyles by controlling their condition through the conditioning check which had been enforced for a year. Additionally, in this study, I mention the usefulness and the utilization that became clear by the enforcement of the conditioning check.
Achieving smooth communication is closely related to each student’s proficiency in Japanese. In this study, an approach from the methods of teaching Japanese is introduced concerning the development in the ability of communication and that of building and expanding the relationships with others, making use of a perspective of career education through acquiring the ability of logical thought to state students’ own opinions properly and establishing themselves.
It is a report of the practice of active learning using “The tales of Ise” in “Classical literature”. Members of a class made material, and reported it based on this material. And they discussed. The characteristic of “The tales of Ise” is that “Uta” asks a story and a story decides meaning of “Uta”, and the stories using “Uta” are arranged. Members of a class made “Uta” and story using “Uta”. And they arranged stories using “Uta”. As survey results we found out that active learning is effective, but correspondence with targets of a subject is insufficient. It is necessary to improve the targets and methods.
Abstract: For National Institute of Technology students, the Japanese contemporary literature is the field of difficult to make an interest. Because we gather students interested in science and technology system, it is no wonder, but since I open a course in a subject, I collect their interest and must provide learning to deepen a thought. In this report, I write down result and the reflection point of various devises went in Contemporary Japanese Literature Classes that I opened a course in 2015.
This paper describes the fundamental research results obtained by adding the sensory information to the activity state evaluation of muscle movement. The purpose of this study is to show the engineering evaluation results of the activity state of the muscle by sEMG(surface ElectroMyoGraphy) using the visual information that biofeedback is made. No evaluation method has the visual information, from being affected by the auxiliary cooperative muscles, not efficient. How to sEMG and biofeedback that information that indicates the active state of muscles, it is effective for the intended activation of designated muscle. Integration of visual information and the biofeedback of muscle activity recognition lead to more effective activation of muscle activity, and for a short time exercise at a low load time.
Recently, owing to the change of industrial structure and living style, consumption of water resources has changed. In this study, we propose the method to estimate the pumping up rate of groundwater and apply this proposed method to the confined aquifer of Yatsushiro area.
The estimation of the pumping up rate of groundwater by hearing investigation to all family units is the most reliable method. But that needs a lot of work and time. So it is realistic to identify the pumping up rate by utilization of observed groundwater levels. At first, we break up several areas from the land use map and give the pumping up rate to each area and make the pumping up rate pattern. Next, we identify the pumping up rate pattern by genetic algorithm to minimum the difference between observed and calculated groundwater levels. We study this method and could get annual change of pumping up rate of groundwater.
In Yatsushiro area, the groundwater has been used as agricultural, industrial and dailylife water. The groundwater levels are rising recently. This is why the decrease of the population, the crop acreage of rice and rush, and the conserving water of the citizens and factories. In 2014, the removal of Arase dam has begun by the demand of the people to the local level. The circumstance of water resources in Yatsushiro area has changed apparently.
In this paper, water qualities of the Kuma River and the groundwater of Yatsushiro area are investigated. The items of water qualities are ion analysis, conductivity and total residue. First of all, characteristic features of the water qualities of the Kuma River and the groundwater in Yatsushiro area are cleared up, and the relationship of the Kuma River and the groundwater is studied. It was proved that the groundwater in Yatsushiro is what the Kuma River water infiltrated. The characteristic features of the groundwater are different between left and right side of the Kuma River. It is found that there is the area that the concentration of chloride ion is over 800mg/l.
A purpose of this paper is to clarify the present conditions of the town house called machiya left in the old townspeople’s district in the central city area of Yatsushiro-shi. There are 986 buildings. This paper makes clear that about 37% of buildings do a form of machiya among all these buildings. People have the impression that there are few traditional buildings. One of the reasons is because the facades of about 27% of all machiyas were repaired.
We study one of those machiyas with a measurement survey and a hearing survey. Based on the result, we make the restoration drawing of the machiya of the begining of the Showa era and report the architectural characteristics. We will think that we can clarify a characteristic of the machiya of the central city area of Yatsushiro-shi by investigating other machiyas in future.
This paper reports Naragi shrine which is deeply connected with the period of Northern and Southern Dynasties and the Meiji Restoration. The shrine keeps syncretism of Shinto and Buddhism. The shrine and Naragi Kannon-do hall were built in the same site. The shrine was founded in 1006. However, the fact that was reconstructed in 1868 was found out. The construction year of Naragi Kannon-do hall is unknown, but it is thought that it was built after 1755. Design of Naragi Kannon-do is more luxurious than design of Naragi shrine. In addition, two buildings were built with consciousness about a direction. Meiji government was Southern Dynasty side. One of the reasons why the shrine was exonerated from the separation of Shinto and Buddhism is because the shrine was deeply connected with Kanenaga Imperial prince who was Southern Dynasty side.
Abstract This study aims to clarify the architectural characteristics of MACHIYA which was built in the Meiji, Taisho and before the world war Ⅱ period at Ogawa-machi. And also it aims to clarify the circumstances of existing three MACHIYA. The three typical MACHIYA at Ogawa-machi were selected and we made measuring, hearing survey of them. These MACHIYA have survived by many residents every possible effort. In this paper we detailed description about “HASEGAWA Silk Reeling Mill and Residence”. The result of this study is expected to give an instruction to preserve old traditional MACHIYA in the future.
