The larvae of Papilio bianor dehaanii C. et R. FEEDER, P. protenor demetrius CRAMER, P. xuthus LINNAEUS, and P. helenus nicconicolens BUTLER were reared on the leaves of Citrus Aurantium L. subsp. nobilis MAKI o, C. tryoliata RAFIN, C. Aurantium var. sinensis ENOL., Xanthoxylum piperitum DC. and Orixa japonica THUNB. under a condition of 25℃ and 60% relative humidity. Some relations between growth and food plants, that is, per cent mortality in the first instar larvae, per cent pupation, number of the sixth instar larvae, and of the diapaused individuals, development time, pupal weight and length of the forewing, growth of head capsule in successive instars were discussed.
