The authors became aware of the fact that the new species name in Oku et al. (2018) is not available because the article does not meet the requirement of the amendment of Article 8.5.3, the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (the Code). The authors therefore describe this species as a new species again in this addendum. Methods for observation of genitalia and wing venation are showed in Oku et al. (2018).
Five species of the genus Meleonoma Meyrick are recorded from Japan. Three new species (Meleonoma japonica sp. nov., M. flavilineata sp. nov., M. flavifasciana sp. nov.) are described. M. tamraensis Park, 2016 is newly reported from Japan and its female is described for the first time. Photos of the adults, wing venation, and male and female genitalia are provided.
A total of seven species of the genus Conogethes Guenée, 1854 is confirmed to occur in Thailand based on specimens preserved in Thailand and Japan. Conogethes tenuialalis sp. nov. is described, and two species, C. parvipunctalis Inoue & Yamanaka and C. haemactalis Snellen, are newly recorded from Thailand. Along with a revised diagnosis of the genus (Inoue and Yamanaka, 2006), keys to the species on external characters, male genitalia and female genitalia are given. After comparison of diagnostic characters of seven species of this genus in Thailand, we propose to designate the following three species groups: C. punctiferalis species-group (C. punctiferalis, C. parvipunctalis, C. pinicolalis, C. pluto), C. evaxalis species-group (C. evaxalis) and C. haemactalis species-group (C. haemactalis and C. tenuialalis sp. nov.).
