JOURNAL FREE ACCESSIntence relativistic electron beam generator, Reiden III, has been constructed forthe application of REB fusion research. The electron beam (500 ke V 80 kA) was generatedand focused onto the target. The spotsize on the target determined by a 3-channel X-raypinhole camera is as small as 1.5mm. The interaction of focused REB with denseplasma on the solid target was investigated. JOURNAL FREE ACCESSAt surgery, more broadly in medicine, generally, based on the modern conception of “System Engineering” related with computorizations, the new tries have been watched out during the past decade. For instance, Heart Lung Artificial machine, Artificial renal Dialysis, Complete Parenteral Nutrition without mouth feeding and Hyperbaric Oxygenation. But, modern Surgery have not been transformed from the pattern that is consisted of the elementary units, “cut and Suture”, yet. Surgical cut and suture now a day are done mostly by hand. The extreme big energy of Laser beam was used for Surgical procedure in rabbit, concerned with Hepatectomy and caecam wall cut, focusing the microscopical point. 3 weeks after these Surgeries, any antibiotecs never used. Gross and histological examinations were done, about woundhealing of caecum and Liver. JOURNAL FREE ACCESSA 12-channel powerful laser installation “DELFIN” for high-temperature heating of thermonuclear targets in spherical geometry of irradiation is described. The installation includes the neodymium laser system with ultimate light energy 10 kJ, light pulse duration 10-10∼10-9 s and the divergence of radiation about 5.10-4 rad, the vacuum chamber for laser radiation-plasma interaction, and a set of diagnostic systems for the study of laser and plasma parameters. The optical scheme and construction peculiari-ties of the laser system are under consideration. The analysis of different radiation focusing schemes is performed, and the description of the “DELFIN” focusing system allowing the obtaining of a high degree of the spherical symmetry for target irradiation at the maximum flux density achieving 1015 W/cm2 at the target surface, is given. The most important problems of laser plasma investigations and general diagnostic methods of their solution are under consideration.View full abstractDownload PDF (2562K)
