    The problem of the land-value was discussed primally by the classical school of economics. In recent years the urban land-value besides the farm land-value has begun to attract their concern. However, the trend of the studies before World War II showed that they were restricted within the general principle of the urban land-value according to the economic theory and relation between the land-value and the location or accessibility. After World War II, stimulated by a rapid concentralization of population on big cities, many kinds of studies on the urban land-value have been publicized. They are reported from the following four points: (1) some economic approach of the urban land-value, (2) proctical research on the relation between urban land-value, transportation, population, and land use, (3) the urban landvalue from the view point of the areal structure of big cities, (4) quantitative analysis of the urban land-value formation. They have mainly dependeed upon the economic theories. However. the ploblems of the urban land-value have very complex characters. Therefore, it is resessary to be studied by various sciences concerned, geographical approach has greatly contributed to those studies.
    The writer shows in this paper that the urban land-value depends upon distance from the suburban railway station, the micro-accessibility in a sence, and distance and time from the civic center, in other words the macroaccessibility. The synthetic relation between these factors are important to analyse the urban land-value.
