The purpose of this study is to consider the utilization of relative matters and studies on Fisheries for high school geography education, in the concrete; I would like to grasp the situation of adopting and using the relative matters of Fisheries for course of study and textbooks. Furthermore, I would like to organize the study results of Fisheries, which are able to be used for geography education, and to examine the use of these as teaching materials.
It is necessary to grasp the actual teaching environment and terms (such as course of study, organizing text books and contents of studying themes) for geography education in order to provide precise information. Furthermore, it is important for geography scholars to examine scenes of where their cooperation is required and to present information that relates to each studying theme.
Although relative matters for Fisheries is no longer considered as a required subject in course of study, the studying themes and the utilization of such studies has broaden. There are many study results on Fisheries, but such information is not sufficiently managed and provided to geography education. The relative Matters for Fisheries can largely contribute to geography education, depending on the methods and devices when make teaching materials. Reorganizing information of study results helps as well.
Hereafter, it is further required to reorganize the conditions of utilizable information of which teachers can easily obtain, the information provided by study groups and scholars, and the close connection of geography scholars and teachers who actually engage in geography education making the teaching materials.
