In Awajishima and Shodoshima that are located in the Island sea, various climate resources are the characteristic of each island and exist abundantly. Both islands expand the local revitalization by tourism that makes the best use of regional potential resources. Now, new development of tourism by local populace’s regional power, namely hospitality is an important assignment. Therefore I’m going to survey both islands regarding this and attempt to propose constructing an activation model of the islands in slow tourism.

In this paper, I wrote it about the Person with Disability tourism that they took time of 40 years from 1970’s, and had been wrestled with. It was a fight of the exclusion that a Person with Disability took. I arranged the fact that Person with Disability oneself and their athletic supporters overcame them by this paper. In addition, in late years I was able to see the exclusion as having become extinct, but, in fact,“new exclusion”from the logic of the capitalism appeared, and the person who cannot travel newly appeared. In other words it is gap-widening society. I discussed that it was the next problem to overcome them.

In this paper, to survey the problems and solutions to promote Tourism based on‘Community Development’from the viewpoint of human resources, I researched the Resident’s consciousness toward ‘Tourism’and‘Community Development’, in Daishoji District. By analyzing date, I discovered which party had the positive attitude to tourists, and which party had the interests to Community Development Also, from the comparison of the attitudes toward tourist, between the party which has the interest to Community Development and the other party which does not have that, I concluded that‘The attitude of residents towards tourists’could be one of the factors that affected the attitude of residents toward Community Development

This article investigates the effects and the influences of applying asset-impairment accounting to leisure facilities management firms operating amusement parks and/or theme parks, many of which have suffered loss through revaluation of fixed assets during the postbubble period. The theoretical analysis in this article shows that applying asset-impariment accounting has a benefical effect on firms’profitability and can improve the marginal costs of capital for firms by way of the real option effects.

This paper examines the role of tourism sectors from a viewpoint of environmental preservation including reduction of greenhouse gases in relation between global warming which is one of the global environment problems and tourism. The role which should contribute to global warming prevention in tourism sectors is pointed out in four fields of ⅰ : carbon offset, ⅱ : sustainable tourism and eco-tourism, ⅲ : consideration of environment and ⅳ :: eco-management. In short, realizing low carbon society will lead to global warming prevention. Therefore, that we continue the present life style will cause the further aggravation of earth environment and our living circumstances will be unchanged forever. Especially in tourism sectors, we have to resolve the subject which is so-called, a double-edged sword on the confrontation axes of the economical side and the ecological side, under sustainable development.

The hotel business in Japan has developed considerably in recent years and is expected to continue to develop in coming years. This further development will increase the demand for the human resources employed therein. While hotels are now generally enjoying a good reputation as a place to work, several problems are observed to exist in the educational cycle of the hotels, the candidates for employment, the educational institutions and the researchers. Proposed here with the purpose of improving the situation are three structural models : Ａ. A career development design model based on the educational background of the indivisuals, Ｂ. A model for sharing the task of providing the relevant education between the hotels and the educational institutions, Ｃ. A model of the composition of the education for the specific job spheres in the hotel. When we can successfully build up a science with the fruit of industrial knowledge and experience, the current situation will certainly be improved. The goal is the establishment of Hotelogy.

The purpose of this study is to examine, how newly-formed German states（former German Democratic Republic）cooperate regionally for tourism development. The main examples are the state Saxony-Anhalt and the small city Quedlinburg within this state. The author did fieldwork there in March and April of2007. The results from this study are summarized as follows :1）There are two regional cooperation patterns,“Scenic Route”and“Spatial Cooperation”.2）As“Scenic Route”came into being just recently, one can indicate some problems with them.３“Spatial Cooperation”is a traditional kind of relationship and therefore serves not only ） for tourism development. Further use of them is desirable.

To overcome those problems, thesaurus unique to tourism is compiled as a trial. Next, on the basis of its thesaurus, analysis of difference about blogs in terms of cultural background is tried with text mining. Finally, the possibilities for tourism marketing will be referred.

Rokkasho Village, in Aomori Prefecture, with Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities has contributed dramatically to our nation as an energy supply base. Moreover, the progress in the preparations for the construction of International Nuclear Fusion Energy Facilities is expected to give further development opportunity for the area development. In this circumstance, Rokkasho Village has considered Nuclear-Related facilities as a core factor for Industrial Tourism to promote the area development and the appropriate understanding of the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Project. On the other hand, negative impression among the people in general towards the Nuclear Power Facilities could lead to degrading of the image of Rokkasho Village itself and that in turn could give a difficult situation for the development for tourism. Although this kind of industrial tourism can be distinguished from existing manufacturing-targeted strategy by its nature, the present circumstance is not clear. This research tries to clarify its characteristics as well as tasks and advantages through the comparative study with previous examples, and examine further development possibilities.
