Professor Khosrotehrani is a clinician-scientist, practicing dermatologist with a focus on delivering state of the art concept and technologies to real-world clinical problems. He is the inaugural St Baker-Soyer chair of Dermatology at the university of Queensland where he leads the Dermatology Research Centre and the Experimental Dermatology Group at the Frazer Institute, director of the Department of Dermatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and co-director of the Australian Skin and Skin Cancer Research Centre in Brisbane, Australia. Prof Khosrotehrani is passionate about the development of academic medicine and future academic clinicians and leads this effort in dermatology on the board of directors of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, or as the immediate-past President of the Australasian Society for Dermatology Research, past board member of the International Society for Investigative Dermatology, and past-Editor in Chief of the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.
