We analyze and evaluate a correlation of total coliform and building data on a monthly basis in the basin of Oita and Ono River. In addition, we analyze and evaluate an optimal range to use the building data from the total
coliform’s observation points, and the optimal attributes (number, area, total floor area) of building data. As a result
of the analysis, we found that the correlation of total coliform of June and building data is high, and the correlation
is high in the case of using the building data of about 7km radius and the total floor area.
We propose a non-photorealistic rendering method for generating watercolor-like images from color
photographs. The proposed method is performed in two steps. First, images with flow patterns created by tracing with a brush are generated with an anisotropic filter. Second, watercolor-like images are generated by coloring that corresponds to the absolute values of the color differences between the image processed by the bilateral filter and the original image. To evaluate performance of the proposed method for generating watercolor-like images, we conduct experiments using example images.
We introduce a non-photorealistic rendering technique for generating indian-ink drawing-like images from
photographs. Indian-ink drawing-like images have a touch different from the traditional chinese-ink painting. In this letter, indian-ink drawing-like images are generated with inverse bilateral filter and an idea of unsharp mask. In order to evaluate the performance of our method for generating indian-ink drawing-like images, we conduct experiments using some example images.
