A fuzzy node fuzzy graph is the extension of a fuzzy graph, and it has been applied to the social structure analysis, the instruction structure analysis and so on. The fuzzy node fuzzy graph is usually complicated, so, we would propose a transform method a fuzzy node fuzzy graph to a crisp node fuzzy graph by using T-Norm. In this paper, we would explain about the transformation method and its practical application to Sociometry analysis.

This paper describes a novel data transmission system for the air-cushion type health monitoring system. Conversational data transmission via coaxial cable sometimes intimidates the patients ; the electric cable near the bed is not desirable for medical doctors and nurses, either. To solve this problem, we developed an FM transmission system that is battery driven and transmits signals from DC to several kHz.

This paper describes a computer sided support system for localizing the distal transverse screw hole in interlocking intramedullary nailing. It is required to localize the distal transverse screw hole under surgeries for femur fracture. Conventional X-ray CT method can find the hole in the CT table. In it, when we move patients from the CT table to the surgery table, the exact potion is missed. Therefore, a real time determination of the hole position is required to enhance the quality. This paper solves the problem by using an ultrasonic system aided by fuzzy logic. First, we show the details of the equipments. Second fuzzy inferences effectively determine the fuzzy degree being the screw hole inserting to cattle femur. Finally, the experimental result shows that our system can determine the screw hole with 1.0mm of error.

Recently, the pulse wave measurement method is paid to attention as a method by which the stiffening degree and the aging degree of the blood vessel can be easily analyzed. However, the checkup system is not so simple and it takes time to be operated and analyzed and also for the subject to get the final result. Therefore, in this article, mixed data of the pulse wave and check-up measurement are analyzed by SOM (Self-Organaizing Maps). Then, by the system, the check-up result will be estimated from the real time pulse wave measurement.

This paper describes simulation of pupil reaction and cardiovascular system during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Traditionally, both pupil diameter and light reflex have been examined to confirm the diagnosis of death. In the present research, qualitative changes in pupil reaction are used for assessing the efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and as a predictor of outcome. In order to obtain the correlation between pupil diameter and coronary perfusion pressure (CPP), for fifteen domestic male pigs, Zhao et al. measured aortic pressure, pulmonary artery pressure and right atrial pressure through catheter from the femoral artery and vein during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, where ventricular fibrillation was induced with an alternating current delivered to the right ventricular endocardium. By using these data, we made a cardiovascular system model with pupil reaction that predicts to restore spontaneous circulation and cerebral function.

In this study, at the first, the visibility of achromatic web safe color combinations between foregrounds and backgrounds was examined by utilizing psychophysical methodology, a paired comparison experiment. Twenty students (3 females and 17 males) ages 19 to 26 years (average 23.4) were recruited ; they were all with normal color sensation. The subject looked at the two different color rings simultaneously and was instructed to identify which of the two rings enable it to see more clearly. Five achromatic web safe colors were employed for visual stimuli of which components were two rings and a background. Secondly, Thurston's paired comparisons technique provided each stimulus with the subjects' relative visibility ranking. Furthermore, the subject's visual sensation was deduced by applying Weber-Fechner's law to luminance of stimuli. As a result, the rankings of stimuli bore the monotone relationship to the visual sensation. This indicates that the rating visibility of color combinations is possible by applying Weber-Fechner's law to the luminance of both the ring and the background.

The Stochastic Inclined Rods Model(SIRM) was proposed in 1995 for understanding the movement of actin-myosin system in muscle. DS-SIRM can convert the thermal noise to the one directional motion by using stochastic resonance and inclined rods in random open fields. Very recently many experimental results support that molecules utilize the random motion for their movement, then we focus on these discussions.

Functional assessments of the meniscus assists to diagnose diseases of the knee joint. To estimate the degree of the degeneration of the injured meniscus, this paper proposes an automated method for segmenting the region of the meniscus from multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) images. The novel feature of the proposed method is that we segment the meniscus based on a fuzzy rule-based representative line finding algorithm. The representative line, which is a new concept, is a line that abstracts the position and shape of the meniscus. Experimental results on the extended and flexed knee joints for three healthy subjects show that our method found a proper representative line, and segmented the meniscus successfully.

In this paper, we have tried to obtain the solution on this problem by using rough sets theory. We apply the concept of rough sets to Liver Disease data for the sake of the solution on this problem and indicate that we can get better results by fuzzy rules obtained by using rough sets than those of Fisher's linear discrimination method on multivariate data analysis. In addition, we compare several fuzzy reasoning methods.

A new model is proposed to analyze social system from their macroscopic point of view. In this method, probability distribution is requested to satisfy the quadratic derivative equation of Schrondinger type. We thought that the data value mean the fuzzy number. In order to treat properly the ambiguity of data, we introduce fuzzy derivative and fuzzy method. The quadratic derivative of the continuous data do not change largely. So, the average of the quadratic derivative is considered good for interpolation of quadratic derivative. The fuzzy integration is used to predict the ambiguity range of the predicted values. Several examples shows that the method works well to give a smoothed curve going to through the data points. The method is also applied to prediction of medical disease in Japan. Taking the age distributions of three disease as examples, we show that the real potential represent the structural characteristics of stationary distribution and imaginary potential indicate the time-change of the absolute value and the shape of distribution. Interactions between distribution are also introduce and it is shown that its approximate solution include a simple relation of net transfer. An idea of the politics is proposed as tool of system analysis and useless is shown. It is merit that we can recognize easily the characteristic structure or dynamics of system by pattern

The myoelectric upper limb prosthesis being marketed now came to treat easily very much along with the technological improvement. However, the play of muscles is a movement by two or more muscle fibres' moving at the same time. Therefore, the stripe telegraphic communication title is the one that the movement of two or more muscles mixed. Because, obtaining detailed information only for the artificial arm control from the stripe telegraphic communication title cannot difficultly put out detailed instructions. I paid attention to "Cooperated operation of the both arms". The person is made the both arms to cooperate when working and operates. If the movement of the remaining arm is measured, "Requested movement" of the artificial arm can be presumed because there is a correlation in the movement of both arms. It is possible to assist in the Den control in a word in some degree. It thinks the artificial arm is developed based on it by making movement studied by using the neural net for that.
