I blood factor has no connection with C(Rh'), D(Rh
0), E(Rh") blood factors which are subtypes of Rh blood group. I-positive gene is inherited dominant against I-negative gene. We found a new incomplete antibody in the serum of a mother who habitually repeated abortions, and provisionally we called it anti-J antibody. The frequency among Japanese of this new blood factor which reacts with anti-J antibody is 23.75%, and J-positive gene is inherited dominant against J-negative. We want to have opportunities to examine the relations of I and J blood factors to S (6)-s(7), Lewis (Le
